11/25/2025 on the resourcehttps://vvv.kommersant.ru/daughter/8230045Information was published that NordStar Airlines, at the request of the prosecutor's office, paid its employees over 1.9 million rubles in unpaid wages.
Unfortunately, the rumor was picked up by several regional and Russian online news outlets, which also spread information that a case had been opened against the airline's director for wage arrears.
This information is unverified and inaccurate. NordStar Airlines strictly complies with all Russian labor law requirements regarding the procedure and timing of salary payments. The aforementioned payment of 1.99 million rubles was made to cover overtime work under a summarized accounting system. According to current Russian legislation, this payment is subject to transfer at the end of the relevant summarized accounting period (in this case, the summarized accounting period was from January 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025).
Thus, the payment of 1.99 million rubles was made on time and in strict compliance with the law. NordStar Airlines has no outstanding wage arrears to its employees. Furthermore, there are no pending cases against NordStar Airlines' CEO for wage arrears or any other violations of Russian labor law.
We urge media representatives to be responsible about the information they post on their resources and to verify information with official sources before publishing, and not to disseminate unverified or inaccurate information.
