Since the beginning of 2020, 10 buildings have been constructed and renovated in the capital to accommodate social organizations under the city's "Social Support for Moscow Residents" program. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.

"Under the 'Social Support for Moscow Residents' program, 10 buildings with a total floor area of approximately 43,000 square meters have been constructed and renovated using city budget funds since 2020. These buildings are intended to house wedding palaces, Moscow Longevity Centers, family centers, and other institutions. These facilities significantly improve the districts' infrastructure and contribute to improving the quality of life for residents by providing them with access to essential services," said Vladimir Efimov.

In the capital, urban development projects aimed at developing social infrastructure are being implemented using city budget funds. All of these projects are included in the Targeted Investment Program.

"Property projects under the 'Social Support for Moscow Residents' program were built and reconstructed in six administrative districts of the capital. The largest number—three—are in the northeast, two each in the southeast and southwest, and one each in the north, west, and northwest of Moscow. The largest building, with an area of over 6,800 square meters, was erected on Brusilov Street in South Butovo. It houses a wedding palace, a family center, a branch of the Moscow City Rehabilitation Center, and a Moscow Longevity Center. The latter offers all the necessary services and facilities for the senior population, as well as classes to suit every taste. It features an art studio, media and quiet lounges, an assembly hall, a gym, and other spaces for other activities," noted the head of the Moscow Department of Civil Construction.

Alexey Alexandrov.

Another facility, covering nearly four thousand square meters, was built in the Severny district on Dmitrovskoe Highway. It houses the Moscow Longevity Center, complete with a billiard room, lounges, a gym, art workshops, and a 150-seat auditorium. The building also houses a family center and a branch of the Moscow City Rehabilitation Center.

A four-story, 4,700-square-meter sports and fitness complex has opened on 3rd Mytishchinskaya Street in the Alekseevsky District. It was built on the grounds of Boarding School No. 1 for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind. The building is equipped with tactile Braille tiles for the blind and visually impaired. The complex also features a 25-meter swimming pool with a stationary lift for users with limited mobility and a multi-purpose gym.
