Tbilisi, November 25 (Xinhua) — Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Zhou Qian and Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Givi Mikanadze discussed prospects for deepening the strategic partnership between China and Georgia, as well as joint initiatives in the field of education, during a working meeting on Tuesday.

The parties agreed to intensify joint efforts to develop educational programs, improve teacher qualifications, and introduce modern technologies into the educational process, which will be an important contribution to strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Zhou Qian praised the significant progress in teaching Chinese in Georgia and confirmed the Chinese side's readiness to deepen strategic partnership in education and science.
