JIUQUAN, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) — China's Shenzhou-22 spacecraft blasted off into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Tuesday, marking the first emergency launch in the country's manned space program.

The spacecraft successfully separated from the Long March launch vehicle and entered its designated orbit. The launch was deemed a complete success, the China Manned Space Administration (CMSA) announced. -0-
