Rosneft's Ufa and Tyumen research institutes held a large-scale cyberfestival, bringing together over 1,200 participants from 72 of the Company's enterprises across the country. This is an all-time record for the tournament's six-year history.
Over four weekend days, participants competed in 10 online games, including chess, sea battle, and Russian checkers.
The best results were shown by representatives of RN-Uvatneftegaz (chess), Bashneft-Dobycha (checkers) and Sibintek (battleship).
For the first time, the cyberfestival featured football simulation games. Employees of the Samara scientific institute emerged as the leaders among 60 participants in two sub-tournaments.
Conducting online competitions helps employees develop productive teamwork skills and improve their ability to make prompt decisions in non-standard situations.
Rosneft promotes a healthy lifestyle and fully supports sports. The corporate "Energy of Life" program unites over 111,000 employees. Over 60,000 employees participate in competitions in various sports.
