On November 22, at the Red Fanza of the Russian Embassy in China, Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov ceremoniously presented the Order of Friendship to Wu Bin, one of the world's most renowned wushu masters, who has trained a galaxy of successful athletes, including stars like Jet Li and Donnie Yen, and is one of the top ten wushu instructors in China. As Sergey Kramintsev noted in his speech, our country highly values Mr. Wu Bin's contribution to strengthening bilateral humanitarian ties. Martial arts, as part of spiritual culture, have become an important bridge between the Russian and Chinese peoples.
Georgy Filimonov, congratulating the master, emphasized that Wu Bin, a legendary figure in the world of wushu, made a huge contribution to the development and popularization of this martial art on an international scale, and also played a significant role in the development of the Russian national team as one of the world's leading teams.
The event concluded with a vibrant performance by young wushu masters from China's Capital University of Physical Education.
