JOHANNESBURG, November 23 (Xinhua) — Chinese Premier Li Qiang pledged on Saturday to expand access for Italian companies to the Chinese market through exhibitions and other platforms.

China is encouraging more Italian companies to enter the Chinese market through platforms such as the China International Import Expo (CIIE), the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the China International Consumer Goods Expo (CICPE) and the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), he said on Saturday during a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the sidelines of the 20th G20 summit.

China also expects Italy to create a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese companies to invest in Italy, Li Qiang added. –0–
