Gaza/Ramallah, November 23 (Xinhua) — Ten Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike in western Gaza City on Saturday, Palestinian sources reported.
The attack, which targeted a civilian vehicle near the Abbas junction in Rimal district, also injured several bystanders and caused the vehicle to catch fire, eyewitnesses and medical sources told Xinhua.
Israeli media reported that the target of the strike was Alaa Hadidi, the head of Hamas's arms procurement department.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said Israeli forces had moved the "yellow line" forward by tens of meters over the past two days, coinciding with car bombs and artillery shelling from Israel.
The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which took effect on October 10, has sharply reduced Israeli attacks, but has not stopped them completely. Gaza health authorities reported on Saturday that at least 318 Palestinians have been killed and 788 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 11, bringing the total number of deaths in Israeli attacks since October 2023 to 69,733, with another 170,863 wounded.
