Beijing, November 21 (Xinhua) — The Sixth China-Russia Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Forum will be held from November 23 to 25 this year in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province (Northwest China), the China Daily newspaper reported, citing sources in the Secretariat of the China-Russia Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development (CRCFPD).

The forum was organized by the CRPD with the support of the People's Government of Shaanxi Province and the Small and Medium Enterprises Council of the China-Russia Committee for Friendship, Peace, and Development.

The China-Russia SME Forum is a regular trade and economic event organized by the aforementioned committee. Previous forums have been successfully held in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Harbin (China), as well as in Sochi and Chelyabinsk (Russia).

The upcoming forum's program includes an opening ceremony, a plenary session, thematic parallel sessions, and study tours. The opening ceremony is expected to attract approximately 600 participants, while five thematic sessions will focus on bilateral trade and investment cooperation, specifically, investment in the construction sector, export-import trade, tourism, culture, the food service sector, the film industry, agriculture, and the investment potential of Russia's regions.

Forum participants will be offered the opportunity to visit the China-Europe train collection and distribution center in Xi'an, the Yangling Smart Agriculture Demonstration Zone, and other attractions. B2B meetings with potential partners are also planned.
