On November 21, 1991, a significant event occurred in the history of science and education in Russia: by decree of then-President Boris Yeltsin, the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) was established.
Its creation was a response to the challenges of the time, when the country needed to update its scientific approach and introduce modern research methods.
The Academy united numerous scientific institutes and laboratories, creating a powerful platform for scientific activity. The Russian Academy of Sciences became a hub for scientists to exchange ideas, conduct joint research, and develop innovative projects.
Today, the Russian Academy of Sciences continues to actively develop, introducing new scientific directions and attracting a younger generation of scientists to scientific activities.
The State University of Management actively collaborates with the Academy and fully supports initiatives aimed at developing science and education. The university houses a Student Design Bureau and several research centers, and conducts ongoing research and development. An Advanced Engineering School has been established jointly with the M.D. Millionshchikov State Petroleum Technological University.
We congratulate all scientists, academics, and students on this significant date and wish them continued success in their scientific endeavors. May the academics' achievements inspire a new generation of researchers to make discoveries and accomplishments for the benefit of society and the country.
