On November 20, the State University of Management held its first meeting of the dissertation council for the research specialty 5.2.3. Regional and Sectoral Economics (Economics of the Agro-Industrial Complex (AIC)), created at the State University of Management this academic year.
At the meeting, candidates for the upcoming period were reviewed, issues of improving the defense procedure and methodological aspects of dissertation review were discussed, as well as other organizational matters.
The creation of a dissertation council stimulates the reproduction of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in this branch of science, which in turn contributes to the construction of a competitive, knowledge-based society and a strong national scientific and educational space.
As a reminder, in 2025, a joint dissertation council was established at GUU with the V.G. Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University for the scientific specialty 2.9.9. "Logistics Transport Systems," making it the first joint dissertation council in this scientific specialty.
