Dubai, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) — An Indian military jet crashed on Friday during a demonstration flight at the Dubai Airshow, killing the pilot.
The Indian HAL Tejas fighter jet reportedly crashed at around 2:10 pm local time /10:10 am GMT/ while performing a demonstration program.
The Indian Air Force said in a statement that it "deeply mourns the loss of the pilot and extends its strong support to the bereaved family at this time of grief."
An investigative commission is currently being created to determine the cause of the incident, the statement added. –0–
