BEIJING, November 20 (Xinhua) — From January to October 2025, the total value of household appliance exports through the Manzhouli railway port in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region reached 3.31 billion yuan (approximately 467 million U.S. dollars), according to a statement posted on the official website of the Manzhouli municipal government on Thursday.
During the specified period of time, both traditional household electrical appliances, including washing machines and air conditioners, and intelligent household appliances, such as sweeping robots and floor cleaning machines, were exported through the Manzhouli railway checkpoint.
Manzhouli Customs, through mechanisms such as "zeroing out problems encountered by enterprises" and "communication between the head of customs and important enterprises", promptly informs foreign trade enterprises of foreign countries' policies on importing household appliances, so that the household appliances exported by Chinese companies meet the requirements for access to international markets.
At the same time, customs has implemented digital and paperless customs clearance to ensure smooth customs inspection of exported household appliances. It is also continuously improving its coordination and collaboration mechanism with the Railway Department and has implemented a number of measures to simplify procedures, such as pre-registration for customs clearance.
In the future, Manzhouli Customs will focus on better serving home appliance exporters, improving the mechanism for providing targeted assistance to them, continuously enhancing the efficiency of customs inspection, and promoting the growth of Chinese-made home appliance exports. -0-
