Beijing, November 19 (Xinhua) — Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong met with Uzbek Interior Minister Aziz Tashpulatov in Beijing on Wednesday.

Wang Xiaohong said that China is willing to work with Uzbekistan to implement the important agreements reached by the two heads of state, strengthen exchanges at all levels, and enhance pragmatic cooperation in areas such as counter-terrorism, telecommunications fraud, and cybercrime, as well as ensuring security for major events and building law enforcement capacity.

These efforts, Wang Xiaohong added, will help ensure the smooth progress of high-quality construction of the Belt and Road, effectively safeguard the security and stability of both countries, and promote the building of a more meaningful and dynamic China-Uzbekistan community with a shared future.
