JIUQUAN, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) — China on Wednesday launched three new satellites into space using a Long March-2C carrier rocket.
The launch vehicle lifted off at 12:01 p.m. Beijing time from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, placing the Shijian-30A, Shijian-30B, and Shijian-30C satellites into their designated orbits.
These satellites will be primarily used to explore the space environment and test related technologies.
This was the 608th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
