BEIJING, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) — Shi Taifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Organization Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a video message from Beijing at the 10th China-Singapore Leadership Forum held in Singapore on Tuesday.
Shi Taifeng noted that as changes occur in unprecedented ways, it is important to seize new opportunities in times of crisis and forge new paths in changing circumstances.
He called on countries around the world to strengthen leadership development and work together to build a community of shared destiny for humanity.
Shi Taifeng emphasized that over the past century, the CPC's unrivaled leadership has united the Chinese people and guided them to make great historical achievements.
"We must develop thorough revolutionary self-transformation, persistently promote the principle of comprehensively stricter internal Party governance, and better guide social transformation through the Party's revolutionary self-transformation," Shi Taifeng said.
Singapore's Coordinating Minister for Government Services and Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing attended the event and delivered a speech.
The delegations of the two countries exchanged detailed views and signed a memorandum of understanding on exchanges and cooperation.
