Damascus, November 18 (Xinhua) — A joint Syrian-Russian military delegation visited several military bases and facilities in southern Syria on Monday as part of expanding cooperation between the two countries, according to the Media and Communications Department of the Syrian Ministry of Defense.
According to the department's statement, the purpose of the visit was to study the situation on the ground in the southern region and assess operational conditions within the framework of ongoing coordination between the two armed forces.
