Moscow, November 18 (Xinhua) — An accident occurred on Tuesday morning at an underground section of a gas pipeline in Russia's Omsk Region. The region's governor, Vitaly Khotsenko, reported the incident on the Telegram channel.

An accident caused a fire in a field near the village of Rostovka. Some industrial enterprises in the Omsk region have been disconnected from the gas supply. Specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the gas industry, and law enforcement agencies, as well as representatives of the regional administration, are at the scene, said V. Khotsenko. He added that there is no threat to residents of the villages.
