Beijing, November 18 (Xinhua) — From November 19 to 20 this year, naval detachments from China and Vietnam will conduct their 39th joint patrol in the waters of Beibu Gulf, according to a statement released by the Chinese Ministry of Defense on Tuesday.
According to the statement, this patrol will be carried out in accordance with the agreements and understandings between the armed forces of the two countries, and is aimed at further strengthening pragmatic cooperation between the armies of the two countries and increasing their ability to jointly ensure security in the relevant waters. -0-
