Beijing, November 18 (Xinhua) — The 3rd International Children's Cultural Festival "Bridge of China-Russia Friendship" was recently held in Hailar District, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, north China. More than 800 Chinese and Russian children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 participated in the event, aimed at promoting China-Russia friendship.
According to the Hailar District Government website, the festival's competitive section was divided into four main categories: instrumental music, vocals, dance, and artistic expression, with individual and group competitions. The artistic expression section encompassed such diverse categories as painting, graphics, design, photography, and national costume design, encouraging the integration of elements of Chinese and Russian cultures.
On stage, Chinese and Russian teenagers showcased their talents and excelled: their vocal performances were clear and inspiring, and their choreographic routines were lively and expressive, fully capturing the youth spirit of both countries. The competition jury included representatives from both China and Russia, ensuring a professionally fair judging process.
The competition awarded 73 prizes, fully showcasing the artistic talents of the two countries' youth.
According to the organizers, this festival not only provided young people with a high-quality platform to showcase their artistic talents but also built a strong bridge for mutual cultural enrichment and tourism between the two countries. Beyond the competition, participants immersed themselves in the study of folk traditions and the winter landscapes of Hulunbuir, deepening mutual understanding and strengthening friendships through interaction, thus laying the foundation for friendly youth exchanges between China and Russia.
