Kyiv, November 17 (Xinhua) — On Monday, Ukraine signed a declaration of intent with France to purchase French military equipment, including 100 Rafale F4 fighter jets, by 2035. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Telegram while visiting Paris.
According to him, under the signed document, Ukraine will also have the opportunity to purchase SAMP/T anti-aircraft missile systems, air defense radars, air-to-air missiles, and aerial bombs from France.
V. Zelenskyy added that this year the two countries will begin joint projects to produce interceptor drones and work on developing critical technologies and components that can be integrated into Ukrainian drones.
