SEOUL, November 17 (Xinhua) — South Korean President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating rose 1.5 percentage points from the previous week to 69.3 percent last week, according to a weekly survey released Monday.

According to the results of a computer telephone survey conducted by the local agency Flower Research, the negative assessment of Lee Jae-myung's performance fell by 1.7 percentage points to 29.5 percent.

Support for the ruling liberal Democratic Party fell by 1.6 percentage points to 53.7 percent, while the rating of the conservative opposition party Civil Force fell by 3.8 percentage points to 25.2 percent.

Results of another poll by Flower Research show that Lee Jae-myung's approval rating last week fell by 2.7 percentage points to 61.9 percent compared to the previous week.

A total of 1,006 voters participated in the polls, which were conducted from Friday to Saturday. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
