The Rosneft team won silver in the Corporate League Cup finals in rapid and blitz chess. Our athletes took second place in both events, beating out the strongest corporate teams.
The top four teams from the 2025 Regular Championship earned the right to compete for the Cup. Rosneft employees competed against top-class chess players, including an International Master and nine FIDE Masters. Despite the fierce competition, the Company's team delivered a brilliant result.
Following the tournament, an awards ceremony was held, where the winners and runners-up of both the Cup and the Regular Championship of the Corporate League were recognized.
Rosneft's corporate chess team is one of the strongest in the country. In May 2025, the Company held a corporate online team rapid chess tournament dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Approximately 100 teams from 54 Rosneft subsidiaries participated in the competition.
