BEIJING, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) — China's rail passenger traffic hit a record high in the first 10 months of 2025, according to data released Sunday by China Railways (CR).
During the specified period, the volume of railway passenger transportation across the country amounted to 3.95 billion person-times, an increase of 6.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to KZhD, since the beginning of this year, the corporation has prioritized ensuring safe and orderly passenger travel and is working to meet the growing diversity of their needs. For example, in the first 10 months, the company operated 2,049 tourist trains, a 28.1 percent increase compared to the previous year.
