ZAGREB, November 16 (Xinhua) — Croatian and Turkish investigators on Saturday conducted a joint investigation and visited the site where the Turkish agricultural aircraft Air Tractor AT-802F crashed.
As Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) reported, citing Croatia's chief air accident investigator, Danko Petrin, Turkish investigators will gather information and provide it to the Croatian side.
According to HRT, Croatian investigators have discovered parts of the plane that could be key to the investigation, and all collected information will be shared with the Turkish side in the coming days.
D. Petrin noted that the cause of the crash may remain unknown for several months or even a year.
A Turkish agricultural aircraft, an Air Tractor AT-802F, on a circuitous route in Croatia crashed Thursday in the village of Krivi Put in the western part of the country. The pilot, the only person on board, was killed.
