BEIJING, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) — Tian Junli, spokesperson for the People's Liberation Army's Southern Zone Combat Command (SZCC), on Sunday called on the Philippines to immediately stop provoking incidents and escalating tensions in the South China Sea (SCS).
Tian Junli said the so-called "joint patrol" in the South China Sea, organized by the Philippines with the participation of countries outside the region, had seriously undermined peace and stability in the region.
