ZHENGZHOU, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) — The People's Procuratorate of Xinxiang City, central China's Henan Province, has issued an arrest warrant for Shi Yongxin, former abbot of the Shaolin Temple, on suspicion of embezzlement and other crimes, sources close to the procuratorate said Sunday.

Previously, the Henan Provincial Public Security Bureau instructed the Xinxiang City Public Security Bureau to investigate the case of the former abbot of the famous monastery.
