BEIJING, November 15 (Xinhua) — Chinese authorities have launched a program aimed at strengthening the integrated development of the human resources services industry and the manufacturing industry.
Thirty-nine pilot cities have been identified for the program's implementation. Its goal is to foster development synergies that stimulate job creation and the renewal of the manufacturing industry.
According to China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the pilot cities cover almost all major economically developed metropolises, including Beijing, Tianjin, and Tangshan, as well as key manufacturing areas in the country.
The HR services sector plays a vital role not only in ensuring high-quality and full employment but also in advancing the development of a modern industrial system. During the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), the industry provided employers with over 50 million professional services annually, offering customized solutions to meet their specific HR needs.
Pilot cities are encouraged to focus on key manufacturing sectors, such as smart manufacturing, electronic information, new materials, new energy sources, and biotechnology. According to the ministry, they are also encouraged to explore innovative methods that foster synergies for industrial modernization and employment.
Leading industrial chain enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises characterized by specialization, intensification, specificity and innovation, as well as key providers of personnel services are invited to participate in the program. -0-
