BEIJING, November 14 (Xinhua) — Qinghai Province handled a total of 561 international freight trains during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), the Zhongguo Xinwenshe news agency reported, citing data from the Qinghai Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
Wu Misen, deputy head of the Qinghai Provincial Development and Reform Commission, noted that the province is intensifying foreign trade cooperation with 113 countries and regions worldwide.
According to him, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Qinghai Province's products were exported to countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, and others, which helped strengthen trade and economic exchanges between the province and countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative and stabilize the production and supply chain in foreign trade.
