Moscow, November 13 /Xinhua/ — The average weighted price of a new passenger car in Russia as of October 2025 was 3.43 million rubles, setting a new historical record. This was reported on Thursday by the analytical agency Avtostat.
The average weighted price of a new passenger car increased by 2.2 percent compared to September 2025 and by 8 percent compared to October 2024. Experts note that over the past five years, prices for new passenger cars in the country have doubled, and for the past 15 consecutive months, the average weighted price has remained above the 3 million ruble mark.
The average weighted price of a used passenger car in Russia also hit a record high in October, reaching 1.23 million rubles. This is 2.5 percent higher than the previous month and 3 percent higher than the October 2024 level. –0–
