Beijing, November 12 (Xinhua) — In the first 10 months of 2025, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region's exports to countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative accounted for about 60 percent of the total, China Central Television reported.
According to data, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region's foreign trade volume from January to October of this year amounted to 3.91 trillion yuan. The region's exports have grown continuously for seven consecutive months, reaching a new high.
In particular, during the above-mentioned period, the volume of the region’s exports to the five Central Asian countries increased by 40.2 percent.
As a reminder, China's yuan-denominated foreign trade turnover grew by 3.6 percent year-on-year in the first 10 months of 2025 to 37.31 trillion yuan (approximately $5.27 trillion). In October alone, China's merchandise trade volume increased slightly by 0.1 percent year-on-year to 3.7 trillion yuan. -0-
