BEIJING, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) — China's government procurement volume will reach nearly 3.38 trillion yuan (about 477.18 billion U.S. dollars) in 2024, data released by the Ministry of Finance showed Wednesday.

In particular, the largest share of them was in engineering – 41.01 percent or over 1.38 trillion yuan.

In addition, the volume of government procurement of goods and services amounted to about 794.47 billion yuan (23.54 percent) and approximately 1.2 trillion yuan (35.45 percent) of total expenditure, respectively.
