BEIJING, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday sent a congratulatory message to Alassane Ouattara on his re-election as president of Cote d'Ivoire.
In his message, Xi Jinping noted that China and Côte d'Ivoire are like-minded and good partners on the path to modernization.
He stated that bilateral relations maintain high development dynamics, fruitful results have been achieved in various fields and friendship has taken root in the hearts of the two peoples.
The world is currently experiencing rapid changes unseen in a century, Xi Jinping pointed out, adding that the power of the Global South is growing significantly.
He stated that he attaches great importance to the development of China-Côte d'Ivoire relations and is ready to work with A. Ouattara to deepen the bilateral strategic partnership and jointly promote solidarity and cooperation between the countries of the Global South. –0–
