St. Petersburg, November 10 (Xinhua) — Five fuel oil cars derailed during shunting operations at the Apatity station in Russia's Murmansk region on Monday, the October Railway press service reported.
There were no casualties and no threat to the public. Two relief trains were dispatched to address the aftermath of the emergency.
Earlier that day, four freight train cars derailed at Yanega station in the Leningrad region. There were no injuries. The incident delayed several passenger trains for up to three hours.
