Phnom Penh, November 10 (Xinhua) — Cambodia recorded a total of 4.37 million foreign tourists in the first nine months of 2025, down 8 million from the same period last year, according to a report from the Ministry of Tourism released on Monday.

Thailand ranked first in the number of foreign tourists arriving in the country between January and September this year, followed by Vietnam and China, the report said.

It is noted that approximately 978,826 Thais and 906,398 Vietnamese visited Cambodia, which is 35.9 percent and 6.9 percent less, respectively, than last year. The Kingdom was visited by 889,089 Chinese, which is 46.3 percent more than last year's figure. –0–
