BEIJING, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) — At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, King Felipe VI of Spain will pay a state visit to China from Nov. 10 to 13.
King Felipe VI was born in Madrid in January 1968. He earned a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in international relations. He was proclaimed crown prince in January 1986 and ascended the throne in June 2014.
He and his wife, Queen Letizia, have two daughters: the heir to the throne, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia. –0–
