Dhaka, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) — A new book titled "China Through the Eyes of Bangladesh's New Generation," containing 19 articles written by 22 Bangladeshi authors, was launched here on Thursday.

The book launch took place at North South University (NSU), a leading private university in Bangladesh, with the participation of hundreds of dignitaries, including faculty, students, and representatives of the university, the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, and leading educational institutions in Bangladesh.

The book, written in Bengali, was edited by Ma Xiaoyan and Bulbul Ashraf Siddiqui, the Chinese and Bangladeshi directors of the Confucius Institute at NSU.

Speaking at the ceremony, Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, said the 22 young Bangladeshis wrote this book with great inspiration, and it demonstrates the new generation's deep understanding of Chinese culture and the dialogue between civilizations. "We invite new friends from Bangladesh to learn more about China," he added.
