GUANGZHOU, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the 15th China National Sports Games scheduled for Sunday in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province.
Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will announce the start of the competition.
The opening ceremony, which will take place at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center, will be broadcast live by China Media Group (CMG). Xinhuanet will provide a live stream with photos and text. -0-
