Ljubljana, November 7 /Xinhua/ — Xinhua News Agency and the Slovenian Press Agency (STA) signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday to strengthen cooperation in the exchange of news and information.
The parties agreed to expand cooperation in the areas of news exchange, personnel training, and technical knowledge sharing to deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and Slovenia, the document states.
The agreement provides for mutual visits, joint coverage of important events, and capacity-building programs for journalists and editors in accordance with the laws and regulations of both countries.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding marks a new step in cooperation between the media of China and Slovenia, promoting objective and comprehensive coverage of events and strengthening bilateral ties.
