Prague, November 7 (Xinhua) — Czech President Petr Pavel accepted the resignation of Petr Fiala's government on Thursday. The ANO (Action of Dissatisfied Citizens) movement, led by former Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, which won the election, is currently working on forming the next cabinet.

The government of P. Fiala will continue to serve until new ministers take office.

The ANO party won the October parliamentary elections. Last week, President Pavel officially instructed Andriy Babiš to form a new government. ANO signed a coalition agreement with the political movements Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) and Motorists for Ourselves.

During the ceremony, P. Pavel praised the outgoing government for its effective work during a difficult period.
