"On November 6, as part of a working visit to Washington, D.C., President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of the United States of America Donald Trump at the White House," the statement said.
The leaders reportedly held talks in the Oval Office, during which they discussed issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-American strategic partnership, strengthening political dialogue, and expanding trade, economic, investment, and cultural cooperation.
