Moscow, November 6 (Xinhua) – A 48-year-old civilian was killed in a drone attack in Volgograd after being wounded by shrapnel. Volgograd Region Governor Andrei Bocharov announced this on Thursday on his Telegram channel.
According to him, on the night of November 5-6, the Volgograd Region was subjected to a massive attack by fixed-wing UAVs. Russian air defense units destroyed approximately 50 drones. Residential buildings and property were damaged.
The Volgograd Region Administration will provide the family of the deceased with financial assistance in the amount of 1 million rubles.
