SHENZHEN, November 4 (Xinhua) — The Intermediate People's Court of Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, sentenced five members of a criminal gang operating in northern Myanmar to death for their involvement in crimes including fraud, intentional murder, and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.
According to the court's ruling, the criminal activities of this group resulted in the death of six Chinese citizens, the suicide of one Chinese citizen, and injuries to several Chinese citizens. -0-
