Jakarta, November 4 (Xinhua) — Indonesia received 11.43 million foreign tourists in the first nine months of 2025, up 10.22 percent from the same period last year, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) reported on Monday.
In September alone, the country was visited by 1.39 million tourists from abroad, which is 9.04 percent more than a year ago.
"The largest number of foreign tourists in September arrived from Malaysia, Australia and Singapore," BPS Deputy Director for Distribution and Services Statistics Puji Ismartini said at a press conference.
Denpasar International Airport on the island of Bali remains the busiest entry point into Indonesia, handling over 634,000 arrivals during the period.
