Minsk, November 4 (Xinhua) — Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on Monday approving the country's key development forecasts for 2026, his press service reported.
Belarus's GDP growth is projected to reach 102.8 percent of the 2025 level, driven by increased investment in fixed assets, accelerated growth in the export of goods and services, and stimulating growth in household incomes.
It is also planned that 3.1 percent more will be allocated for investment purposes in 2026 from all sources of funding than in the current year. The country's exports of goods and services will increase by 3.7 percent, primarily through an increase in physical volume. To achieve this, it is planned to expand cooperation with strongholds in distant countries and restore presence in traditional CIS markets.
Targeted work on high-quality development and expansion of export potential will ensure growth in real disposable income of the population by 4.8 percent. The National Bank and the government have been set a target of limiting inflation to no more than 7 percent.
