BEIJING, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) — Three crew members of the Shenzhou 21 manned spacecraft entered the Chinese space station early Saturday and reunited with three members of the previous crew, starting a new round of astronaut rotation in orbit.
The Shenzhou-20 crew opened the hatch at 4:58 a.m. Beijing time and welcomed their new colleagues, according to a statement from the China Manned Space Administration (CMSA).
The six astronauts then posed for a photo to capture the solemn moment of the seventh space rendezvous in the history of Chinese space exploration.
They will live and work together for about five days to complete the planned tasks and complete the handover of the work, CMSA said. -0-
