BEIJING, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) — Members of the Bureau of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) stressed on Saturday in Beijing the importance of thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee).
They made this statement at the 14th session of the Bureau of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, attended by Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
Fourteen members of the CPPCC National Committee Bureau spoke at the session, expressing their full agreement and strong support for the high-level drafting and strategic plans approved at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
They stressed the importance of carefully studying and implementing the spirit of the said plenary session, aligning their thoughts and actions with the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, and joining forces to advance China's modernization.
The 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, held in Beijing in October, adopted the “Proposals of the CPC Central Committee on the Development of the 15th Five-Year Program for National Economic and Social Development.” -0-
