Gyeongju, South Korea, November 1 (Xinhua) — Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economic leaders adopted a joint declaration on Saturday at the conclusion of a two-day meeting to deepen cooperation for a sustainable future.
As the document notes, the world is at a turning point, the global trading system continues to face serious challenges, and rapid advances in transformative technologies and demographic changes have profound and long-term implications for APEC economies.
The declaration calls for strengthened cooperation and concrete actions to ensure shared economic growth.
