BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) — The classic Russian play "The Seagull" was recently staged as part of the 2025 Guilin Arts Festival in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZAR), Zhongguo Xinwenshe News Agency reported.
This performance, staged by Russian director Irina Pakhomova, was a showcase of the successes of the second-year theatre training program at the Central Theatre Institute of China and the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute.

A spectator from Guangdong Province, Song Zhiming, said that watching "The Seagull" amid the Guilin landscape was a unique aesthetic pleasure.
