Today, the golden terraced fields of Longji, located in Longsheng Multi-Ethnic Autonomous County in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, have become a popular tourist destination. The Longji terraces have a history of over 2,300 years and are recognized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as an important global agricultural heritage site.
